Therapy with Adolescents

Psychotherapy is a relationship that helps people understand their feelings and assist them in making changes they desire in life. These changes can be improving self esteem, ending unhealthy behaviors, improving relationships, or increasing effective parenting skills just to name a few. Each person comes to therapy with their own unique needs, strengths, and concerns.

Jason especially enjoys working with adolescents. The teenage years can be full of awkwardness, fear and apprehension. This is also a time of new discoveries, potential, and excitement. Many teens find it helpful to have a safe and confidential place to share their concerns about family, school, relationships, and their future. Jason has specialized in working with teenagers who deal with problems of self esteem, behavior problems, depression and emotional difficulties.
