Adults with Asperger’s Support Group “Not everything that steps out of line, and thus ‘abnormal,’ must necessarily be ‘inferior’” Hans Asperger (1938) For over three years, adults diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome have had a place to meet and learn about life from each other. Jason facilitates this bi-monthly support group that meets at Memorial Hospital in South Tampa. The goal of the group is to provide a safe place where people are heard, understood, and encouraged to connect with each other. Group members are offered opportunities to improve their social skills, understand how to use their unique gifts to enhance their life, and enjoy more fully enjoy relationships.
